Tapestry

At Warrington St Ann's CE Primary School, we use an online system called Tapestry to record and store observations and assessments relating to each child in EYFS. This is a safe and secure system and one that enables parents and carers to access their child’s learning journey at any time. They can share it with their child, family and friends at home and also post any comments and photographs of their own, helping to create a fully holistic view of the child and strengthen the parent partnership. It will also show children’s developmental progress through the Early Learning Goals.

Remote Learning Through Tapestry

During a period of remote education, we will be providing learning for children through Tapestry. Home learning will be sent via a 'Memo' which can only be accessed by parents when logging into Tapestry via your web browser. The Memo section cannot be viewed in the Tapestry app. Go to https://tapestryjournal.com/ before entering your personal details to log in. The Memo tab will be at the top of the screen.

The activities will be a range of play-based learning, story times and short demonstrations and videos linked to the curriculum. Additionally, for pre-school nursery children and Reception children, there are learning apps, including MathsSeeds, Reading Eggs, Fast Phonics and Numbots. We kindly ask that parents read through the activity/allow children to watch the video (where necessary) then support children in providing evidence of their learning before sharing this as an observation via Tapestry. If for any reason you have not got access to Tapestry or need support please contact school@wstanns.co.uk.
