Inter Schools Sports Results 2017 - 2018

ESFA Small Schools Football Competition


The year 5/6 football team competed in the ESFA small schools competition at Priestley College. The team played 6 matches, all of which were closely contested. The team came runners up in the tournament and will now go on to represent Warrington in the Cheshire finals.

Bold Cluster Hockey Competition

11 Y5/6 children took part in the BOLD cluster hockey comeptition. Both teams played extremely well. Team 2 were joint winners of the competition. Well done to all involved.

Warrington Hockey Finals

This year we entered two teams into the Warrington hockey finals for the first time. Team 1 remained unbeaten in their group but failed to qualify for the quarter finals. Team 2 won their group and quarter final without conceding a goal. In the semi final they lost 1-0 to the eventual winners. As a result, they qualified to represent Warrington at the Cheshire finals later this month. Well done to all involved.

Bold Cluster football tournament

The Y5/6 football team took part in the local cluster tournament. They won one, drew two and lost one game. All games were very keenly contested.

Central Area Kwik Cricket Competition


Y5/6 took part in the central area Kwik cricket comeptition. The children were fabulous throughout and won all their games to be crowned champions. The team now moves on to the Warrington finals in a few weeks time. Well done!

Warrington Schools Cricket Finals

The Y5/6 team competed in the Warrington schools finals at Warrington Sports CLub in Walton. The team played three matches and finsihed top of their group. Finishing top meant they contested the final to become Warrington champions. They lost to a fabulous Outrington team but should be very proud of their efforts. It is the school's best performance ever at a Warrington finals. Well done!

Warrington Small Schools Athletics


The Y5/6 children became Warrington small schools athletics champions. Each child competed in 4 events and competed against 6 other schools. They now go on to the Warrington finals. 

ESFA Cheshire Schools Football Finals

The Year 5/6 football team competed in the Cheshire small schools cup finals at Crewe. They were unable to progress through the groups stages but were a credit to the school. Well done!

KS1 Gymnastics

The school entered its first team into the KS1 gymnastics competition. The girls worked hard each week to learn their routines and performed them superbly on the day. They did themselves and the school proud. Well done!

Y3/4 Key Steps Gymnastics

Three Y3/4 children competed in the Warrington Key Steps Gymnastic competition. Despite being only having 3 team members, they perfomred superbly and beat several schools in the process. They had a fabulous time and we are very proud of their efforts over the past few months. 

Road To Gold Coast

23 children took part in the Road To Gold Coast event at the Orford Jubilee Hub. The children took part in Y3/4 football, Y5/6 girls and boys orienteering and change 4 life festival. The boys won a bronze medal after finishing third in the orienteering but all children competed well.
