ESFA small school competition

The year 5/6 football team took part in the competition at Priestley College. The team competed against other local schools and contested every game really well. The league format was close until the final games. The team finished 3rd overall winning 2 of their games and losing 2. Behaviour and sportsmanship was fantastic throughout. Well done!

Dallam vs St Ann's

The Year 5/6 team played their first league match of the season WC 11th October. It is hoped that the children can retain the league title that they won last year. With only 2 members of last year's team present it was always going to be a difficult task to achieve the same standards as last year. The team had never played together before, yet they produced a fabulous result against a good Dallam team. After going a goal down, the team prduced some excellent football to win 4-1. Ashton completed his hat-trick late on in hte second half. It is hoped this form will continue into their next match against Meadowside at the end of November. Well done on a fantastic result and brilliant team work.

Meadowside vs St Ann's

The school team played a weakened Meadowside team and ran out 8-0 winners in their latest leasgue match. excellent team work was on show again which is very pleasing to see. The next match will be against St Andrew's in January.

St Ann's vs Meadowside

The year 4 team competed in their first firendly match this year against Meadowside. The children were fantastic, showing team work that was beyond what was expected considering their lack of play-time. The team ran out 2-1 winnners. Well done!
