Welcome to St Ann's CE Primary School

At St. Ann’s we are extremely proud of our welcoming and caring environment and we strive to fulfil our school motto - to be a place where “Everyone Matters”.

This is an inclusive and happy school where children have positive attitudes towards their learning and they behave well.  The Christian values of respect, perseverance, peace, hope, trust, honesty, forgiveness and reconciliation underpin all that we do. Our staff work hard to ensure that all of our children are valued, feel secure and are inspired to be the best that they can be.  This can be seen in many aspects of school life including in our Year 6 results this year in which our children’s progress and achievements were above the National average for Reading, Writing and Maths combined.

We are in the centre of a community and benefit greatly from our good links with St. Ann’s Church.  We know our families very well and endeavour to nurture strong relationships with parents, staff, governors, children and the wider community.  Our most recent Ofsted inspection recognised that we have a “culture in which every person is valued and respected”.
