St Ann's Year 4 Autumn Term 2019

Autumn 1

In this half term, our learning question will be, "How can we make sure that God's world is still good?"
Our topic will be based around the Science unit 'Living Things and their Habitats' and we will learn about how we can classify the animals that live on our Earth.
We will focus on how the animals, particularly ocean animals, are becoming endangered due to plastic pollution and learn about the importance of protecting our planet. This will be an ongoing theme throughout our English lessons as well as our Topic lessons.

We will begin our RE journey by learning about Jesus, focusing on how he changed the lives of others when he was alive and how he still impacts the lives of people today.
During our themed week of 'God's World', we will look at the perfect world that God created. We will think about how God wanted his world to be and whether the world now would meet his expectations.
